Biography

 

 

Belgian soprano Astrid Joos is a versatile singer with a repertoire ranging from baroque to contemporary music. Recently performed roles include Barbarina, Susanna, Pamina and Serpetta (Mozart) aswell as Adina (Donizetti), Climene (Cavalli), Agrippina (Händel) and Woglinde (Wagner). A graduate of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and the International Opera Academy in Ghent, Astrid freelances across Europe aswell as in the UK.

Recent employers include Glyndebourne Opera House, Wiener Staatsoper and Dutch National Opera.
